A number of naval and ex-naval personnel will be gathering at the Whangamata RSA, 324 Port Road, Whangamata on the 7th January 2020. Timings for the gathering are as follows:
1100 – Meet and Greet
1230 – Lunch
1500 approx – Disperse
Ex sailors from as far as Auckland and Kawerau are planning to attend. If you are in the area or somewhere in between and would like to catch up, you will all be most welcome. Jim Blackburn and Pete Smith who are both well over 90 years of age will be there. All costs are to be met by individuals.
