Well, a decision has been made – our 2021 Reunion is going ahead.
As a consequence of repercussions of COVID-19, your committee has been managing the organisation of our 2021 Reunion with some caution. Any Reunion decisions made have always been in the best interest of the membership. Most will be aware that we have been asking the membership to register their interest in our 2021 Reunion and to only pay the registration fee i.e. $20 per person. Without exception, all have met the spirit of this request. We find it difficult to believe that with the infection still being super active in many areas of the world, including our closest neighbour, New Zealand’s Level 1 status is unlikely to be lifted before March 2021.
So what does this mean? This means that Level 1 does not preclude our 2021 Reunion from going ahead and our New Zealand domiciled membership from attending. Our quarantine regulations remain in place under Level 1 so it is unlikely that our international membership will consider attending as they will need to meet their own 14-day quarantine costs. But the choice is theirs to make.

For those who have registered and not yet paid their full Reunion fees, our Treasurer will be in contact with you over the next couple of weeks to arrange payment. As the Association is now incurring Reunion costs, we would appreciate you giving your payment your earliest consideration.
